A
green dragon, over 25 feet in length has been seen in the
waters off Lovers Point, looking for a meal, some say. Being a
descendant of European dragons, this one may go away hungry when it
finds only jewelesque named princesses, and no damsels in distress.
Monterey Bay Aquarium experts say that these dragons pose no threat to
the environment, and in fact help keep waters clean by consuming crude
oil spills to fuel its fiery breath. The creature does appear to be a
hazard to scuba divers, after subduing divers it wears them on its hide
as decoration.
Koong-se, aka Princess Topaz (so named for
the golden lights that twinkled from her eyes) has been reported
missing since last Saturday. Her last known whereabouts were a harbor
in Cathay. Mandarin T'so told FOL that Koong-se had heard the
news and became quite despondent for she was in love with a poor, young
scholar only known as Chang.
